1968 FIBA Africa Championship for Women
The basketball Africa Cup of Women in 1968, the second basketball Africa Cup of Women, United Arab Republic took place between 9 and 15 April 1968 in Cairo, held that hosted the championship for the first time. Winner was the national team of the United Arab Republic, which was able to defend her title unbeaten. For the first time took part in a crew from Algeria, Mali and Somalia.
