FIBA Africa Championship 1962

The basketball Africa Cup 1962, the first basketball championship Africa, United Arab Republic was between 24 and 30 March 1962 in Cairo, held that hosted the championship for the first time. Winner was the national team of the United Arab Republic, which was to remain unbeaten, win for the first time, the title.
