FIBA Africa Championship 1974
The basketball Africa Cup in 1974, the seventh basketball Africa Championship, Central African Republic took place between 5 and 15 April 1974 in Bangui, instead, that hosted the championship for the first time. Winner was the Central African Republic that could for the first time win the title. In the finals, Senegal could be beaten. For the first time took part in a team of Dahomey, Tanzania and Zaire.
