1966 FIBA Africa Championship for Women

The basketball Africa Cup of Women in 1966, the first basketball Africa Cup of ladies, was between 11 and 14 April 1966 at Conakry, Guinea, which hosted the championship for the first time. Winner was the national team of the United Arab Republic, which was for the first time win the title.
