Morocco national basketball team

The Moroccan national basketball team represents Morocco in the men's basketball internationals. Although the Moroccan Association in 1936 joined the World Federation FIBA, the Moroccan Mr. selection took unlike the Egyptian squad only in part with the founding of the Continental Association FIBA Africa at national finals. In the first four sweeps of the African Cup of Nations in the 1960s, they won one medal. 1965 could win the competition in Tunisia, while 1964 and 1968 one silver medal won on home soil. In the subsequent 1968 Olympic Games, however, they lost all games, including the final placement match against African champions Senegal, and finished in 16th and last place. Then you could win in front of their own fans with the bronze medal once again a medal only in the African Championship in 1980.
