2010–11 Süper Lig

The Spor Toto Süper Lig 2010/11 was the 53rd season of the highest Turkish league for football the men. It began on August 14, 2010 and ended May 22, 2011 with the 34th and final day. As the winner and therefore Turkish champions, Fenerbahce showed suspicion of match-fixing, they were not allowed to participate in the European Cup. UEFA has banned in 2013 Fenerbahce for 2 years from the Europa Cup. The Turkish judiciary has found guilty of match-fixing in 6 league matches guilty Fenerbahce. After Fenerbahce went in appeal before the European Court of Sport CAS, the CAS Board approved the judgment of UEFA. Unfortunately, the league title for the season 2010/2011 has still not been awarded to the second-placed Trabzonspor by the Turkish Football Federation TFF. Trabzonspor still fighting for his rightful title for the season 2010 /2011.
