2013–14 UCI Track Cycling World Cup

The UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2013/2014 will be held in three runs between November 2013 and January 2014. Is organized by the International Cycling Union UCI. The venue for the final run in January 2014 is not fixed yet.

The achieved at these events placements decide on the participation of athletes and federations at the UCI Track World Championships 2014 in Cali.

At the World Cup race in Mexico Aguascalientes, which is around 1800 meters, a total of seven world records and two German records were set. In the 1000 -meter time trial first drove the German Maximilian Levy 57.949 with a new record, but this was undercut by the Frenchman François Pervis little later with 56.303 seconds again.

500 -meter time trial

The Australian Anna Meares presented in Aguascalientes to a new world record of 32.836 seconds and thus beat their own record of 33.010 seconds, they had driven at the UCI Track World Championships 2012 in Melbourne.

Team Sprint

In the run- in Aguascalientes, the German team of Kristina Vogel and Miriam Welte drove a new world record of 32.153 seconds.

The British women's quartet ran a new world record on 4:19,604 minutes when running the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Manchester. Already in the lead they had undercut the existing record of 4:23, 910. The team pursuit of women is discharged at four instead of three riders only been this season.

In qualifying for the sprint over 200 meters at the flying start undercutting in Aguascalientes four drivers, including the German Maximilian Levy, the existing world record of Kévin Sireau from the year 2009 on 9.572 seconds. The fastest time went to the Frenchman Francois Pervis of 9.347 seconds; the time of Levy 9.563 seconds was a new German record.

In the qualification when running in Aguascalientes, the German team drove a new world record with 41.871 seconds.

Individual pursuit

In the qualification when running in Aguascalientes presented the German railway foursome with Henning Bommel, Kersten Thiele, Nils Schomber and Theo Reinhardt 3:59,144 with a German record, an improvement over the previous record 3:59,781 in 2000, with that in the Olympic Games in 2000 won the gold medal in Sydney and at that time was a world record. In Aguascalientes finished the four- fifth.
