Albisheim

Albisheim ( Pfrimm ) is a municipality in the Rhineland-Palatinate Donnersbergkreis. It belongs to the municipality Göllheim.

Geography

The village is located approximately in the middle of the Zellertals and the mouth angle of Pfrimm and Leiselsbach. To Albisheim includes the residential places station Albisheim, Heyerhof and Pfortmühle.

History

Finds point to Albisheim out as a Celtic settlement. In the year 835 the village was first mentioned in a document by a donation of the Carolingian king Louis the German. Albisheim was quite early on a so-called market town. In addition, there was probably a royal palace here, which has not yet been found.

Parish council

The local council in Albisheim consists of 16 council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 a personalized proportional representation, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

  • Every year on the third weekend in September organized Albisheim the crime committed since 1222 " Epiphany ", a " king sermon" and the distribution of the "King of Wake " belongs.

Traffic

Albisheim is partly due to the B47 and the other on the Zellertalstraße reached by train.
