Cremia is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 718 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012), in Lombardy. The municipality is situated approximately 34 kilometers north-east of Como on Lake Como and directly borders the province of Lecco. At the foot of Monte Bregagno ( 2107 m ) the place was built in 1172 as checkpoints on the lake.


Along the west coast of Lake Como, leads the former Strada Statale 340 Regina (now the provincial road ) from Como to the Swiss border at Valsolda.
