Darfo Boario Terme
Darfo Boario Terme is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. 1968 the village was awarded the title of Città by Presidential Decree.
In Darfo the Dezzo flows into the Oglio.
History
The fortress Montecchio Montecchio in the district was in the Middle Ages because of the location of great importance. Over time, however stunted this meaning more and more. The remains are only overgrown ruins.
Traffic
Darfo Boario Terme is crossed by the Strada Statale 42, which leads from Bergamo in the Alps towards Bolzano. Two stations ( Darfo - Corna and Boario Terme) lie on the railway Brescia - Iseo - Edolo.
