Erling Jevne

Erling Jevne ( born March 24, 1966 in Øyer ) is a retired Norwegian cross-country skier.

He won at the Olympic Winter Games 1998, two medals, including the gold with the Norwegian season. Another two relay gold medals he won at the World Championships in 1995 and 1997. Jevne In the Cross Country World Cup ever won a race in 1996, 2000 and 2002. There are also six second places and three third places. His best finish in the overall World Cup was the 4th place in the season 1996 / 97th

Also worth mentioning are his seven victories at the Norwegian race Birkebeinerrennet so that it is record winner.

Jevne was active from 1987 to 2005 and has since worked as a sheep farmer; he had previously exercised during racing and training-free time this activity.
