Ernestviller
Ernestviller ( German: Ernstweiler ) is a commune with 506 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Sarreguemines, for Canton Sarralbe and community Sarreguemines Confluences.
Geography
The municipality is located seven kilometers south-west of Sarreguemines and thus close to the border of the Saarland. The municipality belongs to a district called tail Ransbach.
History
The community was founded in 1603 by Count Ernest de Mansfeld.
