List of communist parties

Socialist parties often have similar values ​​as social democratic parties. Often both terms are also used interchangeably. Most socialist or social democratic parties are united in the Socialist International. Communist parties are not always in favor of a rule, however, a revolutionary way to achieve change.

Many former socialist or communist parties today call themselves themselves as social democratic. Often Trotskyist organizations describe as socialist or communist party.
