Niederkirchen
Niedernkirchen is a municipality in the district of Kaiserslautern, in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Otter mountain.

Geography
Location
Niedernkirchen is 16 km north of Kaiserslautern.
Community structure
The community Niedernkirchen is divided into five local districts:
- Bügenmühlerhof
- Home churches with living quarters Holbornerhof, Karlshöhe and Kreuzhof
- Morbach
- Niedernkirchen
- Wörsbach with the living quarters Amoshof, Neuhof and Rauschermühle
History
Niedernkirchen was re-formed on 7 June 1969 the formerly independent communities home churches, Morbach, low churches and Wörsbach.

Parish council
The council consists of 16 churches in Lower council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 a proportional representation, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Coat of arms
The blazon of the arms is: " Argent, a black bar, topped with five silver Bollen 2:1:2, above a blue wave pole, topped with a growing golden Schilfkolben and beseitet right of a floating blue red roofed church with golden windows, top right bewinkelt of a blue rust, below a pierced by a lance protruding from the blue bar rotbezungter green Dragon ".
It was approved in 1988 by the District Government Neustadt and contains figures of the historical coat of arms of the four districts.
Community partnership
- With the French community Grancey -le- Château- Neuvelle in Burgundy Niedernkirchen maintains a partnership.

Traffic
- The public transport system is integrated into the transport association Rhein- Neckar.
- The community is through the A 6 (junction: Kaiserslautern-West or sink Bach Alsenborn ) (: Winnweiler junction ) connected to the motorway network and A63.
