Ranzo

Ranzo ( in Ligurian: Rànso ) is a municipality with 550 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the northern Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of Imperia.

Geography

Ranzo belongs to the Comunità Montana Alta Valle Arroscia and is about 30 kilometers from the provincial capital of Imperia.

According to the Italian classification with respect to seismic activity, the community of Zone 3 was assigned. This means that Ranzo is in a seismically active zone little.

Climate
