Saint-Martin-la-Méanne

Saint- Martin-la- Méanne is a commune with 359 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Corrèze, in the Limousin region. The inhabitants are called Saint- Martinois (it).

Geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central and is surrounded by vast forests, in a southeasterly direction, the dam of the reservoir of Chastang ( Barrage du Chastang ) is about two kilometers away. Tulle, prefecture of the department is located 33 kilometers north-west and Argentat about twelve kilometers southwest of Saint -Martin.

Neighboring municipalities of Saint- Martin-la- Méanne are Gros- Chastang in the north, Bassignac -le-Haut in the northeast, Servières -le- Château in the east, Saint -Martial- Entraygues in the south, Saint- Bazile -de- la- Roche southwest, Champagnac -la -Prune in the west and La Roche- Canillac in the northwest.
