San Felipe del Progreso is a municipality in the Mexican state of México. The community had in 2010 100.201 inhabitants, its surface area is 369.8 km ². Council is based in the same San Felipe del Progreso.


San Felipe del Progreso is located in the northwest of the State of Mexico, about 60 km north- west of Toluca de Lerdo, at an altitude of up to 3300 m. The area of ​​the Municipalities is used predominantly agricultural. The largest body of water in the municipality is the reservoir of Tepetitlán.
