Tejupilco is a municipality in the Mexican state of México. The community had in 2010 71.077 inhabitants, its surface area is 671.3 km ². Administrative headquarters of the Municipalities is the city Tejupilco de Hidalgo.

Geography

Tejupilco located in the southwest of the State of Mexico at about 1300 m altitude.

The municipality borders the Municipalities Tejupilco Luvianos, Zacazonapan, San Simón de Guerrero, Texcaltitlán, Sultepec and Amatepec as well as to the state of Guerrero.
