Sébastien Lacroix

Sébastien Lacroix ( born April 20, 1983 in Saint -Claude ) is a French nordic combined.

Career

Sébastien Lacroix lives in Bois- d'Amont, where it starts for the local ski club. He played his first international race in February 2001 in Liberec in the context of the World Cup and won the first 21 points immediately. This was followed up to the end of the 2002 /03 only further missions in B- World Cup and at the Junior World Championship in 2002 in Schonach. In Gundersen competition he finished fifth, with the season he won together with Maxime Laheurte, Mathieu Martinez and Francois Braud behind the team from Germany, the silver medal. Until the next Junior World Championships 2003 in Sollefteå Lacroix launched mostly in the World Cup, and reached multiple points positions. In the sprint, he finished eighth in the relay competition won Lacroix with Braud, Laheurte and Jason Lamy Chappuis the bronze medal. In subsequent years, the Frenchman often changed between the A- and B- World Cup, and reached again good results, but without reaching the final breakthrough. Best result in B- World Cup was a second place behind Mikko Kokslien in Chaux -Neuve in January 2008. In December Lacroix reached in Ramsau am Dachstein for the first time as a tithe -placed a top ten finish in the World Cup. A month later, he arrived in Val di Fiemme seventh his best World Cup placing.
