Sergei Bobrovsky

Sergei Andreyevich Bobrowski (Russian: Сергей Андреевич Бобровский; born September 20, 1988 in Novokuznetsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian professional ice hockey goaltender who plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League since June 2012.

Career

Sergei Bobrowski began his career as a hockey player with the Metallurg Novokuznetsk. Previously, he had been active for the club already in the youth field. In 2010 he was engaged by the Adirondack Phantoms.

On 7 October 2010 he made his debut in the National Hockey League for the Philadelphia Flyers, as he played through the entire game, celebrated his first win in the NHL and allowed two goals on 31 shots on his goal.

In June 2012, the Philadelphia Flyers him transferred in exchange for a second - and fourth- round vote in the NHL Entry Draft in 2012 and a fourth- round choice right in the NHL Entry Draft in 2013 to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Internationally

For Russia Bobrowski took part in the U20 World Youth Championship 2008, where he won the bronze medal with his team. In addition, he was in the squad for the Super Series 2007.
