Toyota Crown
The Toyota Crown is a passenger car series of the Japanese manufacturer Toyota, which has been produced since 1955 and is currently in the thirteenth generation.
In 1980 the Crown as an attempt by Toyota to establish itself in the upper middle class, even to Germany. He was the third Japanese sedan after the Datsun 240K GT and Datsun / Nissan Laurel with a six -cylinder petrol engine in Germany. The engine was equipped with a Bosch L- Jetronic fuel injection system and made 2.8 liter engine 107 kW (145 hp). The equipment was remarkable for the time and the vehicle relatively inexpensive. The concept Crown Hybrid was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show 2007. The new Crown is available in three different trim levels.
