Vallecrosia

Vallecrosia ( in Ligurian: Vallecrösia or Vallecrösa ) is a municipality with 6998 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the northern Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of Imperia and is part of the metropolitan area of Ventimiglia.

Geography

Vallecrosia lies on the Ligurian Sea, at the mouth of the river Verbone. From the French border, is the community of about 12 km, about 40 kilometers from the provincial capital of Imperia.
