Veldhoven
( Listen? / I ) Veldhoven is a municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located west of Eindhoven, east of Eersel and north of Waalre.
In 1996, the 25th anniversary of the "new" community Veldhoven was celebrated. On this occasion, the "Three community point " was, this is the spot where the previous communities ( Oerle, Veldhoven en Meerveldhoven and Zeelst ), now form the community Veldhoven, abutted each other, specially marked. Oerle has retained from the former municipalities most clearly their own character. There is a parrot rescue center, which can be visited daily.

In Veldhoven the head office of the company ASML is (maker of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry), which is also the widely -largest employer in Veldhoven.
