Wißmannsdorf

Wißmannsdorf is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Bitburg -Land. Wißmannsdorf is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geography

Wißmannsdorf lies at an elevation 240-430 m and the course of the river Prüm crosses the Eifel community.

The local districts are Hermesdorf, Koosbüsch and Wißmannsdorf.

History

The community Wißmannsdorf was re-formed on 10 June 1979 the municipalities Wissmannsdorf and Hermesdorf.
