The list includes European rivers according estuaries listed alphabetically watercourses that are considered European if they are at least partially attributable to the European continent.

Tributaries are listed from the mouth towards the source. Behind the river name is usually the Mündungsort, specified with the respective mouth height, the length and the height difference from the source to the mouth; the length is indicated by "L" and the height difference "H".
