1933 Copa del Presidente de la República
The Copa del Presidente de la República 1933 (also: Copa de España de Fútbol, 1933) was the 32nd edition of the Spanish Football Cup competition, which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey. The contest started on April 9 and ended with the final on 25 June 1933 Estadi Montjuic in Barcelona. Defender of the cup competition was Athletic Bilbao. The title was won for the fourth time in a row Athletic Bilbao a 2-1 victory in the final against Madrid FC.
After the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic and the abdication of King Alfonso XIII. in 1931 the cup competition 1933 Copa del Presidente de la República (Cup of the President of the Republic) has been renamed.
