2012 Gerry Weber Open

The Gerry Weber Open 2012 is a tennis tournament which took place in Hall from 11 to 17 June 2012. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2012 and was played on grass. In the same week 's Club were played the AEGON Championships at London's Queen, just like the Gerry Weber Open to Category ATP World Tour 250 count.

Defender of the single was the German Philipp Kohlschreiber, but was eliminated in the semifinal against his compatriot Tommy Haas. This could also prevail in the final and win with a victory over record title holder Roger Federer his second title in Halle. In doubles, Rohan Bopanna and Aisam -Ul- Haq Qureshi were no longer together on to defend their title. While Bopanna did not participate in the tournament, Qureshi reached with Jean -Julien Rojer again the final, where they defeated Treat Conrad Huey and Scott Lipsky.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 28 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. In individual, the four top-seeded players received a bye in the first round.
