2012 Aegon Championships

The AEGON Championships 2012 were a tennis tournament, which took place from 9 to 17 June 2012 at London's Queen 's Club. It was part of the ATP World Tour in 2012 and was played on grass. In the same week the Gerry Weber Open in Halle were played, just like the AEGON Championships belong to the category ATP World Tour 250.

Defender of the single was the top seed Andy Murray, who lost his first match but already against Nicolas Mahut. The winner was Marin Cilic, as his final opponent David Nalbandian was disqualified during the final match: Out of frustration over a lost point he kicked a board, behind which sat a line judge and hurt by this. In doubles, the brothers Bob and Mike Bryan were the defending champions, they reached the final where they were beaten by the world number one Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor again. In the long career of this Mirnys 45th career title was the first title on grass.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 56 players, double that of the competition from 24 pairs. The top-seeded player in singles or 8 pairs in double each received a bye into the second round.
