Almoloya de Juárez is a municipality in the Mexican state of México and Zona Metropolitana del part of the Valle de Toluca, the metropolitan region to Toluca. The seat of the municipality is Villa de Almoloya de Juárez, the largest places of Municipalities, however, San Francisco Tlalcilalcalpan and Santiaguito Tlalcilalcalli. The community had in 2010 147.653 inhabitants, its surface area is 482.3 km ².

Geography

Almoloya de Juárez is located in the western part of the state of Mexico, 15 km north- west of Toluca de Lerdo.

The municipality Almoloya de Juárez borders the Municipalities of San Felipe del Progreso, Ixtlahuaca, Temoaya, Toluca, Zinacantepec, Amanalco and Villa Victoria.
