Atlantis is a city in Palm Beach County in the U.S. state of Florida with 2,005 inhabitants ( 2010). The metropolitan area has a size of 3.7 km ².

Geography

Atlantis is located about 15 km south of West Palm Beach. The city is affected by the Florida State Roads 807, 809 and 812. A few kilometers to the east leads to Interstate 95 past Atlantis. In the immediate vicinity is also the Palm Beach County Park Airport.

Climate

The climate is mild and warm, with a light steady wind from the lake. Statistically, it rains in the summer months to an average of 40 % of the days, even if only temporarily.
