Aubignan
Aubignan is a commune with 5164 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Vaucluse department in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur.
Geography
Aubignan located between the dentelles de Montmirail and the five kilometers away town of Carpentras, whose area directly adjacent to the south-east of the church. Other neighboring municipalities are Saint- Hippolyte- le- Graveyron in the northeast, Beaumes -de -Venise in the north, the west and sarrians Loriol -du -Comtat in the southwest.
Important waterways are the Brégoux that runs through the municipal area with numerous tributaries from the northeast to the southwest, and the 19th- century Canal de Carpentras.
