Barsbuettel ( Low German Barsbüddel ) is a municipality in the district Stormarn in Schleswig-Holstein.

Geography

The municipality is located directly on the eastern border of Hamburg in the southern part of the county Stormarn. Through the town of Bach Barsbek, which flows just behind the Hamburg state border in the Schleemer stream flows.

Community structure

The parish includes the hamlets of Barsbuettel, Stellau, Stemwarde and Willinghusen.

History

Barsbuettel was first mentioned in 1228 as Bernekesbuttle documented and belongs to the constable - towns. 1306 came the Holstein village on the Hamburg cathedral chapter. In exchange for other lands Barsbuettel arrived in 1609 at the old office Reinbek.

The landfill 78 was a 11 -acre, approved for construction waste and domestic waste landfill between the main town and the highway. This was built in 1977 with 168 houses.
