Feldhorst

Feldhorst is a municipality in the district of Stormarn in Schleswig-Holstein. The municipality is located north of Bad Oldesloe and consists of the villages of old pasture, Buurdiek, Havighorst, Hohenkamp, Niendeel, Rögen, Schütte skating, Steinfeld Steinfeld Heckkaten, Steinfelder Hude and stone fields Wahld.

Geography

The community Feldhorst located in the north of the circle Stormarn, about 18 km west of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, in the area of the local Office North Stormarn. In the north the municipality borders the district of Segeberg with communities Wakendorf I Bahrenhof and Bühnsdorf. In the east Feldhorst borders the municipality Rehhorst and the city Reinfeld, in the south on the community Meddewade, this represents the Travelodge the border to Meddewade dar. To the west Feldhorst to the town of Bad Oldesloe.

History

Feldhorst was created on 1 January 1978 from the merger of the previously independent municipalities Havighorst b. Bad Oldesloe and Steinfeld. The name is a portmanteau, formed from the final syllables of both communities.

Havighorst

Havighorst was the first time in 1327, when it was sold to the monastery Reinfeld mentioned. After the dissolution of the monastery during the Reformation Havighorst was assigned to the sovereign's official Reinfeld. Its inhabitants had yet to 1772 the Vorwerk Steinhofgründe hand and make clamping services.

After the annexation of Schleswig-Holstein by Prussia Havighorst since 1867 is part of the newly formed Stormarn. With the introduction of the Prussian municipal constitution it was founded in 1889 assigned to the District Rehhorst and came up with the reorganization after the Second World War in 1948 to the Official Reinfeld. Since 1972 Havighorst belongs to the Official North Stormarn. At the time of the merger with Stonefield the place had 208 inhabitants.

Steinfeld

Steinfeld was first documented in 1149 mentioned in a charter of Henry the Lion. In this one Marc Radu de Steen Velde is mentioned as a witness. Marc Radu de Velde Steen is the only historically known inhabitants of the Heilsaugebiets in the 12th century.

Religions

Already in the 14th century, the district Havighorst had a chapel, which belonged to the monastery Reinfeld. During the Reformation both districts were Lutheran.

Policy

Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the voter community KWV since the local elections on May 26, 2013 six seats and voters Community FBF three. The turnout was around 59 %.

Public institutions

Feldhorst has two volunteer fire departments, volunteer fire department and the volunteer fire department Havighorst Steinfeld. In the district Steinfeld is a kindergarten. The next primary schools are located in Reinfeld and Zarpen, secondary schools with Gymnasium upper level there are in Reinfeld and Bad Oldesloe.

Transport links

The community is connected to the Hamburg Transport Association ( HVV) on the bus. The Federal Highway 75, on the section Reinfeld - Bad Oldesloe, as well as the provincial road 84 Reinfeld - Bad Segeberg run through the municipality. The municipality is traversed by the railway line Lübeck- Hamburg in the southern area, a breakpoint does not exist. The nearest train stations are in Reinfeld ( Holstein) and Wakendorf I, both stations are located in the tariff area of the Hamburg Transport Association ( HVV).

Education

The bookmobile in Stormarn runs in a 3- week rhythm two breakpoints in the community Feldhorst.
