Bernisse
Bernisse ( listen? / I ) is a municipality in the Dutch province of South Holland.

The name Bernisse is that of a watercourse where some villages of the municipality is situated, see at Spui.
History
The church has existed since 1 January 1980. Geervliet It was formed from the former independent municipalities Abbenbroek, Oudenhoorn and Zuidland and parts of the municipalities ( with Simon Haven ) and Heenvliet.
Recreation area
Within the village there is a 300 -acre recreation area. Especially bird lovers and supporters of water sports will get their costs.
