Dubai Classic

The Dubai Duty Free Classic was a professional snooker tournament.

It was first held in 1988 (then under the name of Dubai Masters) and 1989 reached the status of a ranking tournament of Snooker Main Tour. It was the first professional snooker tournament, which was held in the Middle East. From the 1995/96 season it was moved for two years to Thailand and renamed Singha Thailand Classic and Suntory Asian Classic. After the 1996/97 season, the tournament was eventually discontinued.

In the 2008 /09 season there was with the Bahrain Championship once a new tournament in the Middle East.
