La Morra
La Morra ( a Piedmontese Mora ) is a municipality with 2751 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Cuneo (CN ), Region Piedmont.
The neighboring municipalities are Alba, Barolo, Bra, Castiglione Falletto Cherasco, Narzole, Roddi and Verduno.
The municipality covers an area of 24 km ².
Viniculture
La Morra is one of the most important wine-growing villages of Piedmont. From here, many of the best wines of the Barolo region. The winemakers Elio Altare and Roberto Voerzo have their wineries here. The Wine Museum is worth a visit. In La Morra are also vines for the Dolcetto d' Alba, grown a red wine with DOC status.
