Bosia, Piedmont

Bosia is a municipality with 181 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Cuneo (CN ), Region Piedmont.

In Bosia vines for the Dolcetto d' Alba, a red wine are grown with DOC status. The berries of the grape varieties Pinot Noir and / or Chardonnay may be processed for sparkling wine Alta Langa. Bosia is home to the cheese Rocchetta.

Geography

The place is located in the Alta Langa about 60 km southeast of Turin at the headwaters of Belbo. The municipality covers an area of 5 km ².

Bosia is a member of the Comunità Montana Alta Langa. The neighboring municipalities are Borgomale, Castino Cortemilia Cravanzana, Lequio Berria and Torre Bormida.
