Lixing- lès- Rouhling ( German Lixingen ) is a commune with 915 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Sarreguemines Sarreguemines and Canton -Campagne.
Geography
The municipality of Lixing- lès- Rouhling is halfway between Forbach and Sarreguemines, near the border with Germany at an altitude 210-343 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.22 km ².
History
The place was first mentioned in 1315 as Lüxinga.
