Geography

Geographical Location

Oberschneiding is located at the junction of Gäuboden for under Bavarian hill country (including tertiary hill country). The municipality is located in the south of the district Straubing-Bogen. In the south and east of the district of Dingolfing -Landau adjacent to the church.

History

Neolithic

The area around Oberschneiding been inhabited since about 7000 years ago. First mention
