Pertti Teurajärvi

Pertti Teurajärvi Benjamin ( born February 20, 1951 in Kolari ) is a former Finnish cross country skier who competed in the 1970s and early 1980s.

His most significant success is winning the gold medal with the Finnish 4x10 km relay at the Winter Olympics in 1976. Moreover, he won two relay medals, silver at the 1978 World Championships and bronze at the Olympic Winter Games 1980. Teurajärvis best Olympic individual result was the 14. place in the 15 -kilometer race in 1976. The best individual result at all, he scored in the 1982 15K World Cup race in Reit im Winkl.

His uncle was also cross-country skier Eero Mäntyranta.
