Psalm 67
The 67th Psalm ( Greek- count of 66 ) is a Psalm from the third book of Psalms in the Bible. He is the genus of the songs of thanksgiving of the people belong.
Structure
Frank -Lothar Hossfeld and Erich Zenger suggest the following concentric structure of the psalm before:
- Verse 2f: Please blessings and universal knowledge of God Verse 4: refrain: Call for universal Lobrpreis Verse 5: Justification: God judges the earth

The historical interpretation
The historical interpretation tries to interpret the psalm due to a historical event. Possible this proposed events are:
The cultic interpretation
The cultic interpretation understands the psalm in the context of the festival cult. This hard cult determined Hermann Gunkel with the harvest festival ( cf. v. 7). The attainment of food was formerly the main subject of thanks.
The eschatological interpretation
The eschatological understanding would interpret the whole Psalm as a prophecy of end-time events.
