Qoros

Qoros (actually Qoros Auto Co. Ltd.. , Chinese观 致 汽车 有限公司) is a Chinese automobile manufacturer.

Company History

The company was established in December 2007 as a joint venture between the Israeli conglomerate Israel Corporation and the Chinese carmaker Chery Automobile under the name Chery Quantum Automotive Corp.. founded. This Co. Ltd. was only in November 2011 in Qoros car. changed.

The company operates locations in Shanghai and Changshu in east China's Jiangsu Province, in which a new plant was built with a capacity of 150,000 vehicles per year, one-third of the planned maximum.

For the domestic market, the vehicles of the company are managed under the brand name Guan Zhi, which literally means learning and perfection. For the export of the brand name Qoros is selected, the Khoros from the Greek word to German choir, derives and to stand for the multinational character of the company and the quality of the vehicles.

Qoros 3 Sedan

As the first car the company was presented 3 Sedan in spring 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show Qoros. The vehicle was developed by the Austrian automotive company Magna Steyr. For the design of the German Gert Volker Hildebrand car designer is responsible, who worked at Mitsubishi Motors and as head designer for the automotive brand Mini before.
