JAC Motors

The Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd.. (Chinese:安徽 江淮 汽车 股份有限公司; Pinyin: Anhui Jianghuai Qiche gǔfèn yǒuxiàn Gongsi ), abbreviated as JAC, is a manufacturer of passenger cars and commercial vehicles based in Hefei, Anhui Province, People's Republic of China. Founded in 1964 under the name of Hefei Jianghuai Automobile Factory, it exists under the current name since 1999.

Vehicle production

Be built cars, from small cars to the upper middle class, SUVs, vans, minibuses, buses and trucks, primarily for the Chinese domestic market but also for export to Brazil and other countries. Research and development departments are available in Hefei, China, since 2005 in Turin, Italy, and since 2006 in Tokyo, Japan.

In 2009 the company produced 336 979 passenger cars.

On 10 September 2010 the Company announced a joint venture with the U.S. truck manufacturer Navistar International.

  • Refine minivan (model HFC6470 and HFC6500 ), revised in 2004 and the Gold Refine, Refine II called (models HFC6470AR3BE3, HFC6500A1T and HFC6500A1T ). License production of the Hyundai Starex.
