Racines (Italian Racine ) is a municipality in South Tyrol (Italy). In terms of area Racines is the largest municipality of the district community Wipptal. Racines has 4388 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). The administrative center is the village bar in addition to Racines.

Geography

The municipality of Racines extends over an area of ​​203.50 km ² in a valley system in the north of South Tyrol. History
