Corvara, South Tyrol

Corvara ( Corvara in Ladin, Italian Corvara in Badia; uncommon Eindeutschung Badia ) is a more than 1500 m above sea level municipality in South Tyrol (Italy ) and, with St. Martin in Thurn, Abbey, Wengen and Enneberg the five Ladin municipalities of Val Badia. Geography

The municipality of Corvara is located in the valley of the southwestern side branch of the upper, southern Badia Valley ( Val Badia Ladin ). The settlement area is surrounded by mountains of the Dolomites. History

Name Etymology
