Reyersviller
Reyersviller ( German Reyersweiler ) is a commune of 366 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs administratively to the district Sarreguemines and Bitche Canton.
Geography
The community Reyersviller located in the extreme north-east of Lorraine, near the border with the German state of Rhineland- Palatinate. The neighboring community is the canton's capital Bitche. The territory of Reyersviller is part of the Regional Natural Park of the Northern Vosges, the biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest - Vosges du Nord.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1577 as herons hamlet.
