Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kupang

The Archdiocese of Kupang (Latin: Archidioecesis Kupangensis ) is a Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Kupang in Indonesia.

History

Pope Paul VI. founded the diocese on April 13, 1967 from cessions of territory of the diocese Atambua, which was placed under the Archbishopric end as suffragan.

On 23 October 1989, was elevated to the rank of Metropolitanerzbistums.
