Roman Catholic Diocese of Sibolga

The diocese Sibolga (Latin: Dioecesis Sibolgaensis ) is a location in Indonesia Roman Catholic diocese based in Sibolga.

History

The diocese Sibolga was on 17 November 1959, Pope John XXIII. cessions of territory from the Apostolic Vicariate of Medan built as Apostolic Prefecture Sibolga. The Apostolic Prefecture Sibolga was raised on 24 October 1980, Pope John Paul II to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Medan is a suffragan.
