Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Semarang
The Archdiocese of Semarang (Latin: Archidioecesis Semarangensis ) is a Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Semarang, Indonesia.
History
Pope Pius XII. founded the Apostolic Vicariate of Semarang on 9 January 1947 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Batavia.
On January 3, 1961, was raised to the rank of Metropolitanerzbistums.
