Saint-Étienne-des-Sorts

Saint -Etienne -des -Sorts is a commune with 523 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Gard in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. It belongs to the district Nîmes and the canton of Bagnols -sur -Cèze.

Geography

The village is located on the right lower reaches of the Rhone in the north-eastern Languedoc. The river also forms the border with the department of Vaucluse and thus to the historic region of Provence. The neighboring municipalities of Saint -Etienne -des -Sorts are Vénéjan the northwest, Mornas in the east, in the southeast and Piolenc Chusclan in the south.

Attractions
